Puede detectar la presencia de agua y otros líquidos, y transmitir de forma inalámbrica un evento de alarma al panel de control. El detector se debe colocar en una ubicación en donde el agua pueda filtrarse o acumularse, como por ejemplo en: casas, instalaciones comerciales, sótanos y embarcaciones. El transmisor se debe montar en una ubicación alta y el sensor debe colocarse en donde sea probable que entre en contacto con la fuga o inundación.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp style=\"font-size: 15px; color: inherit; margin-bottom: 15px;\"\u003eEl DFL reporta estado de batería baja y tiene un interruptor contra sabotaje que alerta cuando la unidad se abre o si es removida de su lugar de instalación. El DFL transmite un evento de prueba cada 15 minutos.
